Jonas Riemer, born in 1990, studied Animation at Film University Babelsberg. Since 2015, he's been directing fictional and documentary short films that playfully blend animation and live-action. His films have graced over 130 international festivals, including the "Next Generation Short Tiger" in Cannes, winning more than 30 awards along the way. Jonas works as a freelance director in Potsdam & Berlin. Teaming up with Pascal Schuh, they form the dynamic advertising directing duo, "Future Punch."
Since 2023, he's been expanding his repertoire by working closely with Sarah Bosetti as a director for the Late Night Show Bosetti Late Night, which has been honored with both the Grimme-Preis and the Deutscher Fernsehpreis. Jonas brings a blend of passion, creativity, and a touch of magic to every project he dives into. Whether it's weaving stories through animation or crafting captivating live-action narratives, he's dedicated to making each project an unforgettable experience.
